7-day African safari for two

The Langenfeld Foundation is a charity organization that benefits people with special needs and other disabilities, taking them afield to hunt and fish. They are offering a 7-day African safari for two people; one hunter and one non-hunter. Hunts may be taken in 2011 or 2012.

The hunting is with Kuvhima Safaris in the Limpopo province of South Africa. This is a full donation that covers five hunting days and two observer days, and includes three animals: impala, warthog, and jackal. Lodging is in a luxury thatched lodge at the base camp. The hunt arrival and departure point is Johannesburg International Airport. Airport pick-up and drop-off, and all road transportation, is included in this donation and will be with fully equipped vehicles.

Rifles used should be .270 caliber or bigger. Outfitter will supply all the necessary documentation for weapon permits prior to the hunt. There are no license or permit fees required. Additional days and animals may be added at cost. The non-hunter may upgrade to a hunter, with 1x1 guide service, for an additional $200 per day. Trophy fees and daily rates are listed on website: www.Kuvhima.co.za. Archery is permitted if the hunt is nine days or longer.
